I’ve just returned from a week in a half in Ethiopia–mainly the indescribably beautiful Simien Mountains–much of it “off the grid.”

The sites were breathtaking.

And, I was surprised how accessible some of the animals were in the Simien National Park.

It is important to take time away from media and to reset because of the perspective that brings.

The first thing I binged upon my return was the remaining episodes in Season Two of the very fine Showtime series I’m Dying Up Here.

Being away from screens made me appreciate all the more being back in front of one.
