Amanpour is doing interesting things with the show – mainly keeping mainstays most weeks like her pundit panel, “In Memoriam,” and “The Sunday Funnies,” along with hard-hitting interviews of top-tier newsmakers, but also adding some occasional package pieces and other segments as the news calls for it.

Last week’s program focused entirely on philanthropists like Bill and Melinda Gates, Warren Buffett, and Ted Turner.  Watching this is an inspiring way to spend an hour.  I DVR This Week and Reliable Sources each week because I learn so much from both shows and enjoy the process.
