Oh, my goodness.  How low will NBC go?  I know it took a long time for Seinfeld to catch on before it became a hit, but I don’t see this Jerry Seinfeld-produced vehicle garnering many critical accolades.

Basically, comedian Tom Papa hosts video clips of a married couple engaged in a long-term conflict.  They share their respective sides of the issue, and celebrity judges weigh in before a decision is rendered by the host.

It’s billed as a reality show, but The Marriage Ref seems like a cross between a game show and a reality show.  Since I’m not a fan of either genre, this represents a sort of double whammy for me.

I don’t plan to tune in when the series lands in its designated time slot.
