Osadne is a Slovakian village on the eastern edge of the European Union.  Young people have left the town in search of jobs, but the town mayor and the priest are determined to find ways to capitalize on the local charm and natural beauty of the area to revitalize it.  Their efforts take them to Brussels to meet with politicians and lead them to plan local events, but this description doesn’t do justice to the gentle humor of this charming film.
