I enjoyed hearing Ed Burns at the Reynolda Film Festival Tuesday evening. He charmed me with the story he told about riding in an elevator with one of his favorite filmmakers at a a basketball game and not having the nerve to introduce himself to Woody Allen. He said the same thing happened on line at a Starbucks in Manhattan with Quentin Tarantino; he just didn’t feel confident about saying hi. Very human of him.
