I was just about to post something about how I might not watch the remaining episodes of season two of House of Cards when I got a message from Jennie — whose opinion I expressly trust — telling me that she thinks it’s one of the best seasons of television she’s ever seen. Since she’s a terrifically talented television writer (and I’m not saying that because she’s my dear friend), I’d better listen up!
Guess I’ll try to work in a little binge viewing over the weekend…
I hope you like it as much as I did! I really enjoy their performances. The Underwoods are SO terrible but I find them really compelling.

I give the first episode of season 2 extra points for making me audibly gasp at a plot twist and then applaud the irony of the monogrammed cufflinks. Can’t recall the last time I was so engrossed in a “TV” series. I love listening to Spacey’s honey-dripping southern drawl (second only to Walton Goggins on Justified). Absolutely hooked.
